Police searching a house in Strood have recovered a large quantity of heroin and cocaine.

On Wednesday 8 June 2022, Kent Police’s County Lines and Gangs Team searched an address in Station Road where they found a locked safe inside a cupboard.

A further search recovered the key.

Inside the safe they found multiple wraps of cocaine and heroin along with compressed blocks of heroin.

Arrests

A man and woman were both arrested and taken into custody.

The man, aged 32, was later charged with possession of cocaine with intent to supply and possession of heroin with intent to supply.

He was remanded in custody to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 9 June.

A woman from Strood was released pending further investigation.
