A suspected vandal was arrested after making off from police on the A2 at Cobham.
Officers spotted a man spray-painting a sound-proof fence on the A2 at around 6.30pm on Tuesday 19 April 2022.
As they approached him he ran away, getting in a vehicle which made off.
The patrol located the car a short while later and detained the passenger. They seized a number of cans of spray paint from the vehicle.
A man in his 30s from the Gravesend area was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage. He has been released under investigation whilst enquiries continue.
