An intruder who entered a home in Thorn Road and threatened a man and a woman, before stealing a quantity of items which included cash, a bracelet, necklaces, and several watches is being hunted by Police.

Information is sought after the occupants of a Marden home were robbed of jewellery and watches.

At around 4am on Sunday 5 September 2021, an unknown man is reported to have entered a home in Thorn Road. No serious injuries were sustained.

The suspect is described as being around 5ft 10 ins tall with a stocky build. He was dressed in a black jacket and was also wearing a balaclava and black gloves. He was additionally seen carrying a black rucksack.

Detectives from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate have conducted enquiries at the scene, which includes speaking with potential witnesses and checking for forensic evidence.

As part of their continuing work, they would like to hear from anyone who believes they have information on the incident. They are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have dash cam footage, or privately held CCTV, which was recorded in the general vicinity between 4 and 5am.
