Police Dog Yankee, pictured above, is back in the limelight, this time in Hythe, after recently sniffing out a suspected catalytic converter thief in Ramsgate
PD Yankee located a man who reportedly ran away from the scene of a road traffic collision near Hythe from where drugs were seized.
Kent Police was called to junction 11 of the M20, Hythe at 5.23pm on Tuesday 23 March 2021 following a report of a road traffic collision.
The passenger of one of the vehicles reportedly ran away from the scene, he was promptly located by Police Dog Yankee on a nearby bridge and arrested after class A and B drugs were found during a search.

The man, who is in his thirties and from the Folkestone area, was arrested on suspicion of possessing class A and B drugs with intent to supply. He has been released under investigation.
