KCC has received further reports of residents in Kent being targeted by emails claiming to be from Royal Mail.




What happens:
You receive an email claiming to be from Royal Mail.
The email states a parcel is on the way and a shipping fee needs to be paid.You are directed to a link to pay now.

What to do:
This is a scam.Do not click on any links.Forward the email to report@phishing.gov.uk and delete the email.

If you have fallen for this scam, contact Citizens Advice on 0808 250 5050.

Please warn vulnerable family members, friends and neighbours.
