Officers have charged a man following a disturbance outside a block of flats in Maidstone.
A 33-year-old, was arrested at the same location at around 7pm on Friday 5 February 2021 following reports of a man making threats to harm numerous people with a kitchen knife.
While being taken into custody, he is alleged to have attempted to headbutt a police officer.
The man has subsequently been charged with making threats to cause serious physical harm while in possession of a kitchen knife, making threats to kill and assaulting an emergency worker. He remains in custody and is due to appear before Medway magistrates on Monday 8 February.
