Investigators have issued an appeal following a report of a robbery in Canterbury.
The incident happened at around 5pm on Thursday 31 December 2020 in London Road. It is alleged a 17-year-old boy was walking near St Dunstan’s Church when a group of people aged in their late teens and early 20s assaulted him and stole a mobile phone from his pocket.
Investigating officer, PC Glenn Day, said: ‘Investigators have been completing enquiries in the area, including the examination of CCTV footage, and we would like to hear from anybody who witnessed the incident or saw the suspects.

‘I would also appeal to motorists who were in London Road between 4.30pm and 5.30pm with dashcam, to check for any footage that may assist our investigation.’
